July 2019. I was invited to draw during the INTERNATIONAL CRESCENDO SUMMER INSTITUTE in TOKAJ, Hungary.
More the 300 people form 34 countries met in that little but beautiful capital of Hungary’s wine region. I was impressed to hear that there are a lot of masterclasses for classical musicians in the world but many come from very far for the very special atmosphere at CSI. And yes, I really liked that high level music but without the any competition feeling. One teacher said to me: “I like the absence of sarcasm here, that I’m so used to in my orchestra back home.”
